On September 27, 2009, I encountered a challenging situation while trying to adjust the idle mixture on my 230SL Mercedes. I have tried adjusting the idle mix screw on the injection pump, the only problem is that once I get it adjusted so that it does not smoke at idle it will stumble terrably upon acceleration. I adjusted the timing to factory specs.
